This recipe includes our Vanilla Bean WPI for a protein boost, making these pancakes energising and the perfect post-workout snack.
For a plant-based alternative, swap the WPI for a plant-based protein powder, and swap the egg for a mashed banana or a tablespoon of chia seeds.

Ingredients
- 2 cup plain flour or gluten free flour
- 30 gm Vanilla Bean WPI - Vanilla Bean WPI
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 0.25 cup pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cup milk or nut milk
Directions
- Simply place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine.
- Lightly spray fry pan with coconut or rice bran oil.
- Bring pan to a low-medium heat then add the pancake batter (approximately 3-4 tablespoons at a time) to form each pancake.
- Once little bubbles appear over the batter it’s time to flip!
- Serve with fresh berries, banana, pure maple syrup, coconut yoghurt or get creative with your own toppings.
