This Double Chocolate Thickshake is the kind of recipe that makes healthy feel a little bit rebellious.

Rich, creamy, and packed with Raw Cacao WPI, it’s a high-protein treat disguised as dessert. The base is simple but powerful: ripe bananas for natural sweetness, raw cacao for that deep chocolate flavour, and creamy milk to bring it all together. Add chia seeds for a sneaky fibre boost, and what you get is a thickshake that’s decadent enough to satisfy cravings, yet clean enough to have post-workout.

But the real star? The homemade chocolate drizzle. A quick mix of cacao, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla transforms into a silky sauce that lines your glass and elevates the whole experience.

Double Chocolate Thickshakes

Ingredients

  • 2 large or 3 small ripe bananas
  • 60 gm Raw Cacao WPI or protein of choice - Raw Cacao WPI
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 3 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla paste or extract

Directions

  1. Combine your thickshake ingredients in your food processor, and process until a creamy, smooth thickshake has formed.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the chocolate and stir until smooth. Divide the chocolate between the bottom of two large milkshake glasses, and follow with the shake. Done!
  3. Hot but weird tip: It tastes particularly delicious warmed up in the microwave.
