A delicious combination of roasted hazelnut butter, smooth vanilla bean protein, and blueberries! The Purple Haze(lnut) smoothie is perfect when you’re in the mood for something a little bit sweet, but also smooth, nutty and creamy.
It’s excellent served with crunchy toppings such as granola, shredded coconut, or extra nuts, as well as extra hazelnut butter swirled around the glass for when you’re feeling fancy. We recommend using roasted hazelnut butter with this recipe, but you can use a handful of roasted hazelnuts if you have them on hand.
What we love most about this smoothie is that it is so easy and convenient. It's the perfect breakfast smoothie for a busy morning, a post-exercise refuel, or the afternoon pick me you’ve been waiting for.

Ingredients
- 250 millilitre coconut water
- 30 gram Vanilla Bean WPI or Vanilla & Coconut Plant Protein - Vanilla Bean WPI
- 1 frozen mango cheek
- Handful frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut butter
Directions
- 1. Mix all ingredients in a high-speed blender for 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
- 2. Top with your favourite toppings such as shredded coconut, granola, or cacao nibs.
- 3. Enjoy!
